Sunstrike Card Reveal: Auraboros

When I was given the opportunity to create an Elestrals card of my own, I wanted to design something both flavorful and powerful with some unique mechanics that still remained fair within the context of the game.

I came up with Auraboros, a lizard-like Ouroboros Elestral that can reverse time. Auraboros "rewinds" your opponent's cards by returning them to hand AND returning their attached spirits to the spirit deck. And if Auraboros is removed by an effect, you can choose to put it on top of your deck to give you another opportunity to use its effect.

When you Cast this Auraboros you can target an opponent's face up card. Return its Enchanting Spirits to the Spirit Deck and that card to the hand. When this Auraboros is destroyed by an effect you can put it on top of your deck.

Auraboros is a powerful utility tool in Elestrals that has a variety of applications for removing a large ascended Elestral, bouncing a stadium, or even just removing another Elestral that you can't quite get over for a turn as a tempo play. While this is more versatile than most other sources of removal in the game, your opponent gets their spirits back!
